A 3d Sculpture of a female flying torso from Vega and some 3d moving art from my video Mechanuity. http://www.rybird.com/videos/mechanuity
The creation process is very lengthy. The background was first made on tinkercad as complex geometric models, then placed in a 3d music visualizer reflecting my art and photography onto their moving surfaces. Then the resulting video edited and a still image taken and further developed in photoshop. The torso was created in Sculptris, which is a virtual clay modeler. The body and the wings were made separate then assembled in Meshlab, a 3d mesh program. Then the Morphyre model viewer and converted into binary. Then it was placed in the Morphyre pro visualizer, a unique java based application and like the background, my art and photography was reflected from it in real time to music. The same process of extracting it from a video editor was applied, Also the Sculptris model was exported as a PSD' Photoshop document" where a 2d image was used a brush in a custom photoshop action. While some of these techniques were used in this particular work, including a BCC light flare, most of the finished work uses most or all of these. The whole process takes dozens of hours over many days or weeks. Thank you for letting me display some of my other work like this here. There is a moving images with music version. "Art Video" called Into the Realm that was a collaboration with another musician AudioWeapon at Moving Dabbles.
